The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
37 employees at wooden house manufacturer Älvsbyhus have been issued with redundancy notices.
The company, which currently employs 307 people will cut 17 jobs in Älvsbyn, in the north of Sweden,
and 20 jobs in Bjärnum located in the south part of Sweden. The internal restructuring
will affect both white-collar and blue-collar workers. The company will reduce their workforce due to
declining demand for housing.
