Description
The Bulgarian lead and zinc smelter KCM AD- Plovdiv is to create 1000 new jobs in 3 mines - Varba-Batantsi, Shahonitsa and Pechinsko, according to the Minister of the Economy and Energy Traycho Traykov. This was announced during the opening of the first concession mine Varba. A total of 350 workers will be hired by the end of the year and the remainder in early 2012.
KCM AD is part of the holding structure of KCM 2000 AD which manages a portfolio of companies operating in the field of nonferrous metals production, trade, industrial engineering and industrial service. KCM AD is a leading producer of nonferrous and precious metals in Southeast Europe and the Black Sea Region.
