European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 28 July 2011, the express mail delivery and logistics company DHL stated its intention to increase its workforce at its hub at the airport Leipzig by 500 in 2012. Job creation is part of a business expansion scheme. Some 3000 people currently work at the hub. DHL is an affiliate of the German postal company Deutsche Post.
