European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Portuguese private health group Trofa Saude has announced the opening (in November) of a new hospital of Alfena (HPA) based at the town of Valongo, creating 400 new jobs.
With a total investment of EUR 30mn, the hospital will deliver A&E services 24/24 in several specialities such as Paediatrics, General and Family medical care, Anaesthesiology and Internal Medicine. Some 200 doctors are expected to work in this unit.
