On 5 September, building and ship repair company DCNS (12500 employees in the world) has announced the recruitment of 100 engineers and managers to its information systems directorate that is being transferred to the group's sites in Lorient (Morbihan) and Brest (Finistère). DCNS wants to double the volume of business within ten years, developing the following markets: military shipbuilding and civilian nuclear energy and marine renewable energy. This plan requires additional teams in its information systems activities. DCNS currently employs 12,500 employees and had a turnover of 2.5 b euros in 2010.
