Description
The Danish bank, Jyske Bank, announced 22 September that 250 jobs will be terminated before the end of 2012. 150 employees had to leave the bank immediately. Six branch offices in Jutland will be closed. The management hopes that the remaining redundancies will take place through natural wastage in 2012. According to the bank negotiations with the Financial Services Union have taken place with the aim to mitigate the effects of the dismissals.
