Description

Finnair, the largest airline in Finland, has announced plans to cut up to 155 jobs from administration and marketing. The company is initiating negotiations with employee representatives on the proposed cuts.

Finnair is a publicly traded company, but the Finnish government owns a majority of its shares. The announced redundancies are part of its longer process of cost-cutting and re-organisation, similar to what many other airlines have been going through.
