European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Pharmaceutical manufacturer Pfizer has announced the intention to present a labour force adjustment plan which will entail 220 job cuts across various sites in Spain. The measure is attributed to the increase of health care costs as well as the recently approved decree enforcing a reduction of prices of medicines. The restructuring is expected to affect the company's administrative structure and its retail network in Spain.
