European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Vorwerk, the specialist for vacuum cleaners, is to increase the number of its field sales staff from 350 to 400 by the end of the year as a result of a planned business expansion. Within the coming five years, the company aims to expand the direct sales force up to 500 employees. Currently, the client portfolio covers around 500,000 customers in Austria, where the company sells annually around 60,000 vacuum cleaners with a turnover of around EUR 20 million.
