European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
All remaining 120 employees of Acamp, a manufacturing firm of garden furniture in Upper Austria, are to lose their jobs due to insolvency. The restructuring proceedings, which have been going on since the company filed for bankruptcy in the fall of 2010, have finally been concluded in July 2011. With accumulated debts of EUR 16 million, the company is to supposed to quit production immediately. No information on the provision of socially acceptable solutions for the employees has been communicated at the time of writing.
