European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Daewo has announced the intention of applying for a redundancy procedure affecting the 158 employees working in the refrigerator manufacturing plant in Vitoria. The measure is blamed on the non fulfilment of the energy efficiency regulation which will come into force in the European Union in 2012.
