Description

The State Social Insurance Fund Board of the Republic of Lithuania intends to dismiss 435 people in different territorial offices in Lithuania as of the beginning of 2012. According to the management, the restructuring will help to save up to around 10.4 million LTL (3 million EUR) annually.

The State Social Insurance Fund Board of the Republic of Lithuania is operating under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour and is a key institution engaged in administration of the public social insurance funds in Lithuania. It currently employs around 3,700 people.
