Liverpool-based retailer TJ Hughes has gone into administration putting up to 4,000 jobs at risk. Accountancy firm Ernst and Young has announced that at least 21 of its 57 stores will close across the UK. The firm blames poor trading conditions and a lack of credit confidence. There have been 1,068 job losses to date, but it is anticipated that more will follow.
