Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Audi Hungary has announced to have increased its workforce by 400 in 2011, the number of employees increased from 6,100 in 2010 and from 5,700 in 2009. This significant grow is due to the expanding demands of its customers.
The company is to receive an additional HUF 2.1 billion in state aids for the pressing plant in Győr bringing the total amount of subsidies allocated to the investment to HUF 13.3 billion. Production is expected to start next spring; four Audi models will be manufactured from the second quarter of 2013.
Audi Chairman Rupert Stadler said earlier that the company would employ 2,100 people at the plant rather than the originally expected 1,800 until 2013.
Audi Hungaria Motor Kft in Győr is a 100% subsidiary company of Audi AG, builds Audi TT Coupé, TT Roadster and the A3 Cabriolet yet. Audi Hungaria's income decreased 30% during 2009 but it increased 40% in the first half of 2010.
