European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Romanian government has announced that the state-owned coal company Compania Naţională a Huilei Petroşani will lay off 900 employees in 2011 as part of the action plan agreed with the IMF, the World Bank and the European Commission in order to decrease the state budget deficit.
