European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Telecommunication service provider Telecomunicaţii CFR is to dismiss 100 employees by the end of August 2011. The job cuts are part of the measures negotiated and agreed with the International Monetary Fund in order to decrease the state budget deficit. This will be partly achieved by restructuring state-owned companies.
