Description

Amphenol-Tuchel Electronics, a Germany-based producer of automotive parts, has announced 135 redundancies at its Ostrov factory by the end of October 2011. The downsizing is attributed to strong competition from other car parts producers and high labour costs in the Czech Republic. The firm which currently employs 350 people has decided to move the production to Tunisia and China.
