Description

Following a decision of the Commercial Court of Tours, the printing group Laski (340 employees) is to close its subsidiaries with a total loss of 239 jobs. The group lost 6 millions euro in 2010 for a turnover of 50 millions euro. According to Les Echos, this is mainly due to the severe decrease of orders.

On 29 June 2011, the Commercial Court of Tours decided the liquidation of its main subsidiaries Mame imprimeur and Gibert Clarey. In total 255 jobs will be affected. Since early 2011, every month the printing company Mame has lost 150,000 euro. Some of the activities have been taken over by Façonnage du Maine and Jouve, by a decision of the commercial court on July 8. This way some 26 jobs out of 140 will be saved.

On 28 June 2011, another subsidiary of the Laski group, APS Chromostyle, was taken over by Quadrilaser which decided to keep 17 of the 27 employees.

Finally subsidiary Techniq Imprim in Evry (Essonne) which employs 31 people, will pursue its activities until mid-September. In the meantime the business could be taken over by another company.
