Description

IAC, one of the major subcontractors to Saab Automobile, announced the cut of 200 jobs which corresponds to around 15% of total workforce.  Cutbacks affect plants in Färgelanda and Skara.

IAC is an American company that specialises in providing integrated interior and exterior systems to automotive manufacturers worldwide. IAC 1300 employees in Sweden and provides a variety of parts to the Swedish vehicle manufacturers. The job losses are blamed on declining orders from Saab Automobile, their largest client.
