European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ECI, the book club, announced on 3 February 2011 that it will close all of its shops and hence dismiss 100 employees. Due to the ever decreasing number of members and the expensive cost of ECI stores, the company is focussing on a new strategy: online sale. From 1 June 2011 on, ECI will only have an online store.
