Tesco ČR, the largest retail company in the Czech Republic, plans to cut 290 jobs in the Czech Republic and move them to India. The restructuring will affect mainly accounting activities in Prague- and Brno-based headquarters of the company and is due to cost saving measures. The company has currently 158 stores in the Czech Republic and employs around 14,000 people.
