Description
Pharmaceutical company MSD-Organon (formally known as Organon) is to cut over 500 jobs in its R&D division in Oss. MSD initially planned to cut more than one thousand cuts. After a year of negotiations the company has reached an agreement with the works council on the reorganisation plan, called "Plan B". The plan envisages fewer job cuts than originally planned and the creation of a new drug development centre for emerging markets (i.e. China and India). MSD is a branch of the American Merck & Co.
