Description

Kemppi is a Finnish company producing welding equipment. By the end of August 2018, the company will close its plant in India (Chennai) ,and will move the production back to Finland (Lathi). The company aims to centralise its production activity, and locate it close to the product development department.  Updating: the volume of production realized in Chennai was about 5% of the total. The relocation will bring about 50 new employees in Lathi, and up to thirty new subcontractors.
