Description
On 15 April, French supermarket chain Carrefour opened its third hypermarket in Gdańsk, where 140 people were hired. The company implements its development strategy in Poland and plans to open next units (about 300 smaller supermarkets near housing estates and at least 30 units of Carrefour Express are expected to be opened in 2011 across Poland).
Carrefour has been operating in Poland since 1997 and has 350 supermarkets and 44 petrol stations across Poland.
