European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
One of Saab Automobiles major subcontractors, Plastal Sverige, is to cut 50 jobs in the upcoming year. The cuts are blamed on reduced orders from Saab. The factory in Simrishamn has been out of work for five weeks. Plastal produces plastic components for cars and Saab is their largest client.
