Description
Paper maker Stora Enso is to cut 285 jobs at its paper mills in Sweden, Germany, Finland, Belgium and the United Kingdom. The company blames the job losses on the continuing overcapacity in European paper markets, which had forced Stora Enso to close several of its paper mills over the past years.
Stora Enso stated that it will try to reassign the affected personnel to other units and help them to find new employment opportunities outside the company.
