Description
On 24 March 2011, online bookshop Amazon announced the building of a new transport and distribution centre near Augsburg, Bavaria, creating 1,000 permanent jobs within in the next three years. Further up to 2,000 additional fixed-term jobs may be created during periods of high turnover, such as before Christmas. The new centre is expected to start its operation in the third quarter of 2011.
