The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Tampereen Infratuotanto, a subsidiary of the Finnish city of Tampere, has announced that it will reduce its workforce by 200 employees. Mandatory negotiations have been held and the direct dismissals are ruled out. About 80 employees may be offered other positions within the city's organisation, and the remainder of the job cuts will be implemented through retirement or other voluntary measures.
Tampereen Infratuotanto provides public works services (streets and parks), vehicle and machinery services as well as planning services, mainly to the city of Tampere.
