Dellers Couplers, a manufacturer of couplers for railways, will cut 72 jobs in 2011. About 25 white-collar workers and 47 blue-collar workers will be affected by the cuts. The job losses are blamed on a sharp decrease in sales due to a strong domestic currency and competition from Asian producers. Dellers Couplers is looking into possibilities to move production, primarily to low-cost countries in Asia.
