European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Group Sidi Hotels has closed two hotels in Valencia (Side Saler) and Alicante (Sidi San Juan) respectively with the loss of 177 jobs. Last January, the group presented a redundancy plan (ERE de Extinción) on economic grounds, which, however, was refused by the labour authority. The employees intends to file a lawsuit against wrongful dismissal.
