European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Leisure boat producer Rodman Polyships has announced that it intends to present a redundancy plan to the labour authorities (expediente de regulacíon de empleo de extinción) which will affect 120 workers. However, the company must still negotiate the measure with the employee representatives. The enterprise has blamed the decision on the drop in demand since 2008. Other internal restructuring measures had been implemented prior to the ERE, including the non-renewal of temporary contracts and early retirement schemes.
