On 25 February 2011, Leroy Merlin, construction, gardening and household equipment vendor, announced plans to employ 250 people in supermarket in Zielona Góra. The supermarket will be opened in September 2011, but the company has already started recruitment of employees. The new recruits will undergo training on services and products offered by the Leroy Merlin.Leroy Merlin has been operating in Poland since 1994 and has 38 supermarkets across Poland.
