Description
Computer multinational Intel is looking for 100 voluntary redundancies after announcing that it is to close a factory at its Leixlip campus in March 2011. Intel informed staff at the plant that it is seeking the redundancies as part of the closure of the "Fab 10" facility at its Co Kildare site, which is operating some way below full capacity. Some staff have been reassigned or have been able to upskill to stay with Intel, but about 100 redundancies are still required by the company.
