Description

On 14 March 2011, the German carmaker Daimler announced its plans to create 750 new jobs at its sites in Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim and Woerth.  200 trainees and up to 400 temporary agency workers will be added at Daimler's site in Woerth during 2011. The company also told the press that 150 new jobs are to be created at its production site in Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim and additional temporary agency workers are to be employed (no precise figures available on the temporary agency workers).

Already in February 2011, Daimler had stated its intention to hire some 10,000 worldwide due to an increase in orders, also including new jobs in Germany. Whilst no precise data on the planned job creation was available for Germany at that time, new information reached the press in March 2011 (see above).
