Description
On 24 February 2011, the management of TBP (former Alcatel) announced a restructuring plan which will result in the loss of 120 jobs (around 30 % of total employment). The decision was motivated by the decrease in production.
Orders have declined for at least two years and the company has opted for crisis mitigating measures to avoid large restructuring operations. There is no precise information on how and by when the job losses will be implemented.
