Furniture producer Pohištvo Brežice has closed recently. In January 2011, the company employing 112 people went into liquidation. The owner of the company Novoles intends to reduce production costs by liquidating Pohištvo Brežice and moving production to another location. Most of the employees say they do not intend to move elsewhere.
