Description

On 20 January 2011, Panasonic Electronic Devices Slovakia announced a plan to dismiss 90 out of 515 employees in Stara Ľubovňa. Redundancies are attributed to implementation of digital TV broadcast in Slovakia, which resulted in declining orders of related TV components produced by Panasonic Slovakia. Dismissals are scheduled to start in April 2011.
