Description

Internorm International, an Austrian company specialised in windows and doors manufacture, plans to hire 160 additional employees. In 2009 the company had a slight 2% drop in sales, whereas 2010 was more successful with a turnover of EUR 305 million and a 2% increase in sales. About 54% of sales are being exported, mostly to Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and the new EU Member States. Internorm plans to expand and export products to Scandinavia and the Benelux states. The company manufactured around 900,000 window units in its three production sites in Traun, Sarleinsbach (both Upper Austria) and Lannach (Styria) in 2009. The firm, celebrating 80th birthday this year, will invest EUR 29 million in its production sites, thus creating 60 new jobs in Traun and 100 new jobs in Lannach in the medium term.
