Description

Polestar Foods has announced plans to close its Okehampton plant in Devon and it has made 232 staff redundant with immediate effect. Production in the plant has already halted while the closure is blamed on the company's financial circumstances. The owner is considering appointing an administrator and looking for a buyer in the hope that some of the jobs are saved.
