Description

In early February 2011, Danish meat processing company Danish Crown, announced the creation of 150 new jobs at its slaughterhouses and deboning facilities across Denmark. This is due to an increasing numbers of pigs being delivered for slaughter from Danish farmers after a long break when pigs were sent to Germany to be slaughtered. This is the continuation of a positive trend started during the summer. Five years ago Danish Crown employed 15,000 in Denmark and 10,000 abroad. Today Danish Crown has 9,000 employees in Denmark and 14,000 abroad.
