Health insurance company VZP ČR has announced that it is to cut 150 jobs out of a total 4,500 staff across the Czech Republic. The workforce reduction is to begin in early 2011 and about 10% of the personnel at Prague´s headquarters will be the first to be affected. According to company spokesman Jiřà Rod, regional departments of the company have been reducing the number of employees since 2009. Approximately a total of 670 employees are to be dismissed between 2009 and 2013.
