Description
The Swedish hotel group Pandox AB has announced a restructuring operation which will affect between 66 and 103 jobs at The Hotel, former Brussels Hilton hotel. In September 2010, the group had bought out the Brussels Hilton hotel to the Hilton group. After assessing the financial situation, they have decided to undertake a major reorganisation to make The Hotel "the best international business and conference hotel in Brussels." The new owner blamed the decision on the need of new investments. Some activities of the Hotel could be stopped, some others could be outsourced (e.g. cleaning of the rooms).
