Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has announced plans to cut up to 620 jobs in a bid to save £50m over a period of four years. Howvever the job cuts will be implemented within the next 15 months.The trust, which runs Blackpool Victoria Hospital and has an annual turnover of 400 staff, said it hoped to avoid compulsory redundancies and committed to protect front-line services during the cost-saving process.
