Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Amalva, the company engaged in the production of ventilation systems, intends to employ around 50 people in factory in Vilnius by the end of August, 2011. Currently the company employs 328 people. According to the management, additional workforce will be needed after the company will finish installations of new production equipment. The largest part of the production will be exported to Russia, Estonia, Poland and other European countries.
