Description

On 24th January, Philips announced its decision to relocate the manufacturing of replacement lights for automotive headlights from Plauen to Poland. 130 out of 440 workers at the Plauen plant will be dismissed. In Plauen, management and the local works council have agreed on a social plan which will envisage the transfer of redundant employees to a job transfer agency.
