European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US food products group Kraft Foods has informed local unions in Barcelona of its intention to cut approximately 300 jobs, mainly in the administrative and commercial divisions. The job cuts come as a consequence of the acquisition of UK chocolate maker Cadbury earlier this year. No information has been given either on the number employed at the Barcelona site or when the job losses will be implemented by.
