European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Roche, the Swiss pharmaceutical company, has announced plans to reduce its Spanish workforce of 1,928 by 190 in 2011. The areas around Madrid and Barcelona will be impacted the most by the job reductions. The restructuring would mainly affect two divisions in Spain - Roche Farma (1.245 employees) and Roche Diagnostics (683 employees).
