European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Municipality of Tønder announced on 2 November 2010 that 200 jobs will be cut during 2011 and 2012 due to budget cutbacks. The job cuts will be implemented through dismissals as well as natural wastage. From December 2010 until end of May 2011, 40 employees in administration and in the social and health sector will be dismissed. After the implementation of a new national school reform a so far unknown number will be made redundant during spring 2011. The rest of the job losses will be implemented by means of natural wastage.
