Description
Advanced World Transport (AWT), the second largest transport and logistic company in the Czech Republic, announced that some 200 were lost at its Ostrava site by the end of 2010 due to the termination of truck transport. The company, employing about 2,500 people in the Czech Republic, now will mainly focus on railway transport. Workforce reduction will mainly affect truck drivers and administrative staff positions.
