Description
On 15 December 2010, Atos Origin announced its intention to recruit between 7,000 and 8,000 employees next year across its global operation units, which will include 1,600 new jobs in France. On the same day the company's CEO, Thierry Breton, announced a merger between Atos and Siemens IT Solutions and Services, to create a leading European I.T company (number 7 in the world) with 78,500 employees (including 62,000 engineers). Currently Atos Origins has a global workforce of 50,000 workers.
